Radio Frequency

The RF Seekers ETA of the CW ITP, primarily considers and components, technologies and algorithmic techniques which offer a benefit to the design and development of RF Seekers applicable to missile systems. Essentially, the domain seeks research proposals which offer potential benefits in the four key areas:

  • Improve integration while offering multirole and multimode capacities to the seeker
  • Recurring and ownership cost efficient solutions for very high performance products as well as disruptive solutions for lower seeker performances
  • Technologies and algorithmic techniques to provide better accuracy and stability in target detection, recognition and terminal guidance
  • Development of algorithmic techniques to improve target recognition/identification and offer Battle Damage Assessment or Indication (BDA or BDI) capability
